Barbados - A World Away

Barbados is a world away in the Caribbean Sea. It is the outermost of all of the Caribbean islands, sitting approximately 100 miles east of its closest Caribbean neighbour. So geographically, it doesn't get much farther away when it comes visiting an island in the Caribbean.

Sometimes called 'little England' of the Caribbean because while the Danish, French, and Spaniards were fighting over much of the rest of the Caribbean a few centuries ago, Barbados sat quietly to the east of the rest of these other Caribbean islands and remained very British.
